Years of scientific research and application aimed at developing unadulterated pure nutrition underpin our mission to deliver major improvements to the mainstream food chain.

The science tells us the mainstream food chain suffers from a lack of diverse biological activity in soils and mediums (mushrooms and hydroponics).

This deficiency, combined with undigested synthetic and mineral ionic fertilisers, means that complex proteins and polysaccharides cannot form and our food chain progressively diminishes in the essential electrochemical properties required for a mammal to function properly.

Many plant-based companies pretend to be ‘good for you’ by adding fibre, protein and minerals to give a perception of nutrition with no regard for digestibility. Bamboo fibre is ok if you are a Panda, refined carbohydrates are not even good for pigs but minerals added may be helpful if you are a ruminant.

ViGA meat replacement products are derived from 22 years of liquid composting developments in commercial horticultural and 7 years of multi-university crop trials. A small, dedicated team continues to break records in food nutrition values from highly specific application of an advanced liquid humus metabolite nutrient, which is continually evolving to a more complex, potent and available fertiliser. It is not unusual to have a scientific breakthrough every few weeks!

Knowing that we have the best tasting and most nutritious mushrooms, we have developed a unique mushroom and mung bean patty with an inspired chef. Due to the high soluble fibre levels in the mushrooms, combined with the mung beans, there are no need for binders, thickeners, fillers, emulsifiers, fibre, sugar, bamboo, corn starch, potato extract, tapioca, gum or other additives.

What makes us
Different?

Soluble Fibre and dietary fibre

ViGA products have 600mg/100g soluble fibre and 5.1g/100g Dietary Fibre. This is high and is the essence of good gut health.

ViGA mushroom juice concentrate is in clinical trials for IBS, with numerous testimonials confirming efficacy for a range of health issues.

Available carbohydrates

ViGA has 16% carbohydrates, which is high, and 70% is available, which is exceptional.

Available carbohydrates are digested in the small intestine yielding ATP valuable energy. They are non-starch polysaccharides, including Beta-Glucan.

Natural essential trace elements

ViGA mushrooms have high natural levels of essential trace minerals like selenium, iodine, boron, molybdenum, cobalt and lithium, to name a few. These electrochemically reactive elements are fixed into organic complexes naturally through true humus metabolism, and not added later as a supplement just to boost the label. These levels are well above levels in industry standard mushrooms.

Formula

ViGA mushrooms derived from advanced humus contain significant trace and ultra- trace elements and present a model for superior mental and physical performances.

This relates to actively high levels of proton donation in ViGA mushrooms which enables effective use of antioxidants. About ViGA

ViGA is an emerging business based in Western Sydney’s Windsor. Some five years ago ViGA began an informal trial process distributing its patented mushroom juice to people with a wide variety of ailments including cancer, arthritis, lupis and IBS encouraging results.  In 2021 ViGA commenced clinical trials at Western Sydney University focusing specifically on IBS.  This trial will be completed in Q1 2022, but overall the data is positive and provides interesting data and trends that support our theories about the mushroom extract’s anti-inflammatory and prebiotic properties.

ViGA Foods was established in 2020 to explore the opportunity of plant-based food given the sharp rise in the demand for these products with the emergence of the ‘Flexitarian’ movement.  ViGA quickly developed a tasty range of products including patties, mince, balls and sausages.  We have received a great deal of informal feedback from family and friends of ViGA.  They particularly like the taste, texture, simple ingredient list and above all the unprocessed nature of the ViGA patty.
